Beauty TipsFirst and foremost, let me just say that the best beauty tip I can give you is this: Drink PLENTY of water! Water plays a crucial role in your over all health. Not just your beauty on the outside but the well-being of your insides, too! You should be drinking 8 glasses of water a day! Are ya?
For radiant skin
Stay hydrated to keep your skin soft and supple. Seal in water externally after a shower by applying lotion to damp skin.
As you age, you'll hit some bumps along the way. Care for your skin as you do your most prized possession and you'll see the benefits quickly, as well as years from now.
Sometimes us ladies either do too much or too little when it comes to washing our hair. We believe it's all in the shampoo, when sometimes, it may be how we're washing our hair. Before applying shampoo, make sure your hair is soaking wet! You'll need less shampoo as a result, according to international hair and scalp specialist Philip Kingsley, author of Hair, An Owner's Handbook (Aurum). Pour a little into the palms of your hands, rub it in, then smooth palms over the surface of your hair. Using the pads of your fingertips, massage shampoo into your scalp. Every now and then, run your fingers through your hair from front to back; this prevents tangling.Be sure to rinse your hair thoroughly. You don't want any shampoo residue left behind, it will make your hair have a dull shine. Now it's time to apply conditioner. How much do you really need? According to experts at our local Hair Salon and Spa, they say you only need about a dime-size dollop if your hair is shorter than 4 inches long; the size of a quarter if your hair is longer. They also said to apply conditioner to the ends of your hair only! To prevent greasy hair from applying styling products such as gel, mousse, wax and other products, apply to the ends of your hair only. Fluff it up some while the products are still on your hairs, but don't saturate the top of your hair with it when you first apply it. If you're using a voluming or root lifting spray, apply it only to the roots of your hair and then work it through the tresses.

Teeth Whitening
Baking Soda: An old-time favorite, baking soda has many
purposes, including tooth whitening. Most dentists agree that it's
safe to use and works fairly quickly. You can use it alone on a damp
toothbrush or mix it with toothpaste to help neutralize the salty
taste. Also check out our Baking Soda Tips page.
Hydrogen Peroxide: One of the most popular home remedies,
peroxide, is cheap and most people have it on hand. Chances are, you
will feel some burning in your gums, but you'll be left with clean,
whiter teeth. Typically, most people will see results within a
couple of weeks but it can happen much sooner. It's also safe to
gargle, but don't swallow.
Brush your teeth as you normally do, and then swish for about a
minute. Follow up by spitting it out and rinsing thoroughly with
water. Another way to use it is by dipping a cotton swap in the
solution and gently rubbing it into your teeth, front and back.
Strawberries: Not many people are aware that strawberries
contain natural teeth whitening agents and the seeds work great for
cleaning. Since they also contain sugar and acids, it's important to
brush immediately afterwards with a fluoride toothpaste. For easy
and quick application, you can either rub the strawberry against
your teeth, or mash it up and use it like toothpaste.
